Room Leader – Baby Room

£32,500 per annum | 40 Hours Per Week

The earliest years of a child's life are some of the most important, and we're looking for a passionate Room Leader to help create a nurturing, stimulating environment where babies can flourish.

This beautiful nursery has been thoughtfully designed with children's learning and development at its heart. Bright, open-plan rooms provide an inspiring space for adventures and learning. The Baby Room also benefits from its own dedicated outdoor space, allowing even the youngest children to enjoy fresh air and enriching outdoor experiences every day.

As Room Leader, you'll take the lead in creating exceptional learning experiences, supporting your team, and ensuring every child receives the highest standard of care and education.

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or similar role
• Experience working with babies in an early years setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A nurturing and child-centred approach to childcare

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the Baby Room
• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
• Support, mentor, and develop practitioners within the room
• Plan and oversee engaging activities that support babies' learning and development
• Monitor children's progress through observations and assessments
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
• Make full use of indoor and outdoor learning spaces to enhance children's experiences
• Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times
