Care Home Cook - £13 per hour - 30 hours per week

 

This Care Home Cook role offers the chance to take real ownership of dining within a thoughtfully refurbished care home designed to provide modern, comfortable surroundings for residents.

 

You’ll be responsible for delivering a high-quality dining experience, with meals that are not only nutritious but tailored to individual needs, including specialist diets and allergies. This suits an experienced cook who is confident working in a professional kitchen and understands the importance of consistency, safety, and presentation in a care setting.

 

Before You Apply

  • You must have experience working in a professional kitchen.
  • Must have knowledge of specialist diets and allergens.
  • You must hold a valid Food Hygiene Certificate.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen environment (preferably a care home setting)
  • Strong knowledge of specialist diets, allergens, and food safety
  • Valid Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Ability to manage workload independently and maintain standards

  • Plan menus that meet nutritional standards and resident preferences
