As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to lead and support the clinical team, ensuring residents receive the very best in person-centred care. This full-time role offers a blend of hands-on clinical work and supernumerary hours, giving you the scope to both care and lead.

This role requires previous senior experience in a nursing home setting.

What You’ll Need
Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC pin
Previous experience as Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead in a nursing home
Experience in elderly care, including dementia and complex nursing needs
Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills
Knowledge of CQC standards, clinical governance, and safeguarding
What You’ll Do
Support the Home Manager in daily operational and clinical duties
Lead, supervise, and develop the nursing and care teams
Ensure person-centred care plans are delivered, reviewed, and updated
Maintain compliance with CQC standards and internal quality policies
Liaise with residents, families, GPs, and other healthcare professionals
Contribute to recruitment, performance reviews, and staff training
