Early Years Apprentice

£17,300 per annum | 40 Hours per Week

We are looking for a motivated Early Years Apprentice to join their warm and welcoming nursery team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and wants to build a rewarding career in early years education.

 

The nursery provides exceptional care for children aged 3 months to 5 years and offers a nurturing, home-from-home environment where children are encouraged to learn, play, and thrive. What We're Looking For

  • Genuine passion for working with children
  • Positive, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and complete an Early Years qualification
  • Reliable and committed approach to work
  • Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and child wellbeing
  • Previous childcare experience is beneficial but not essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing
  • Assisting with age-appropriate activities and play experiences
  • Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Supporting daily routines including mealtimes, play, and learning activities
  • Observing children's development and assisting with learning records
  • Following safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery procedures
