This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager ready to step up and lead a well-established nursery that puts children, families, and staff wellbeing at the heart of everything it does.

 

As Nursery Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of early years education, care, and compliance. You’ll inspire your team to deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework and maintain a welcoming environment where every child feels safe, supported, and eager to learn.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager within an early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and best practice in early years education.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A proactive, supportive approach and genuine passion for childcare and early learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and support the nursery team to deliver outstanding early years provision.
  • Manage daily operations, staffing, and rotas to ensure smooth running of all rooms.
  • Oversee curriculum planning and ensure activities meet EYFS requirements.
  • Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, health, and safety.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and external partners.
  • Monitor performance, support staff development, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets, occupancy, and resources effectively.
