Nursery Practitioner
Up to £31,000 per annum | Full-Time, 40 hours per week | Ofsted Rating – Good
Blending an EYFS and play-based curriculum with forest school, wonderful outdoor areas, and a warm home-from-home environment, this is a setting that understands children learn best when they feel safe, curious, and free to explore - indoors and out.
They are now looking for a passionate and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their team and bring that same philosophy to life every single day.
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification - essential
- Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- An enthusiasm for outdoor learning, forest school, and nature-based early years practice
- A solid understanding of EYFS and play-based learning approaches
- Warm, nurturing, and passionate about creating a home-from-home feel for every child
- Reliable, creative, and a strong team player

Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality, play-based care and early years education in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Supporting and participating in forest school sessions, making full use of the nursery's wonderful outdoor areas
- Creating a warm, home-from-home environment where every child feels secure, valued, and ready to learn
- Planning and implementing engaging activities that blend structured learning with child-initiated exploration
- Observing and documenting children's development, sharing progress meaningfully with families
- Building genuine, nurturing relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Contributing positively to the team and upholding the nursery's ethos and high standards
