Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 Qualified – Essential)

Early Years | Up to £30,400 | 40 hours per week | Permanent

 

Please note: A Level 3 Early Years qualification or above is an absolute requirement for this role. Applications without this qualification cannot be considered.

They are now looking for a qualified and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join their close-knit team and contribute to the warm, high-quality care this nursery is proud to offer.

 

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above - this is essential and non-negotiable
  • Experience working within an early years or childcare setting
  • A solid working knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • A warm, nurturing and child-centred approach
  • Strong observational and record-keeping skills
  • A reliable team player with excellent communication skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of young children

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Act as a key person for an allocated group of children, building warm and trusting relationships
  • Observe, assess and document children's learning and development accurately and consistently
  • Support children's individual needs, interests and next steps through a thoughtful and tailored approach
  • Communicate openly and positively with parents and families on a day-to-day basis
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team to maintain the nursery's high standards of care
