Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3) – Pre-School Room
Up to £27,000 | 40 Hours Per Week | All Year Round
This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and motivated qualified nursery practitioner to join a busy Pre-School room. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences while supporting children during an important stage of their development.
The role will also involve taking a lead within the room, helping to create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
The nursery proudly holds a Good Ofsted rating and is committed to delivering high-quality childcare and early years education.
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification
- Previous nursery or early years experience
- Confidence supporting and leading within a room
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education for children within the pre-school room
- Support the day-to-day running of the room and assist in leading the team
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Observe, assess, and monitor children’s progress and development
- Build positive and professional relationships with parents and carers
- Support children’s emotional wellbeing and individual learning needs
- Ensure safeguarding, health, safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times
- Encourage children’s independence, confidence, and social development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards across the nursery
