Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) – Montessori Nursery

Salary: £30,000–£32,000 per year
Schedule: 4 days per week | 8:00am–6:00pm | All Year Round

 

This nursery is known for its child-centred approach, supportive team culture, and small class sizes that allow practitioners to build meaningful relationships with every child.

 

Rated Good by Ofsted, this setting provides a calm and inspiring learning environment where children are encouraged to develop independence, curiosity, and confidence through play-based and Montessori-inspired learning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Passion for child development and learning through play
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach
  • Montessori qualification or experience is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs
  • Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate activities
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
  • Support children’s independence through Montessori-inspired practices
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive nursery team
