Nursery Room Leader – Level 3

Salary: Up £32,000

hours: 40 hours over 4 or 5 days

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our client’s nursery. This is the perfect role for a qualified Early Years Educator with strong leadership skills who is ready to inspire, guide, and support a team while providing exceptional care and education for young children.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) – essential.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development, the EYFS framework, and safeguarding requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of early years educators, ensuring high standards of care and learning.
• Deliver and oversee a child-centred curriculum in line with the EYFS framework.
• Create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can flourish.
• Build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on children’s progress.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and social interaction.
• Support, mentor, and coach colleagues, helping them to develop their practice and confidence.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times.
