Registered Nurse – Nights

Nursing Care | £21.00 – £22.50 per hour | 38.5 or 44 hours per week

 

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a nights role within a well established nursing home? This purpose-built home, rated Good by CQC, provides residential and nursing care for older adults and is looking for a clinically strong nurse to join their trusted night team.

 

With a choice of 38.5 or 44 hours per week, this role offers genuine flexibility whilst working within a supportive and experienced team that takes real pride in the care they deliver.

 

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN) with a valid NMC PIN - essential
  • Strong clinical skills with a confident and thorough approach to care
  • Previous experience within a nursing home setting - highly desirable
  • Experience working with older adults
  • Reliable, calm under pressure and able to work autonomously during night shifts
  • Good communication skills and a compassionate, resident-centred approach
  • Right to work in the UK - this role does not offer Tier 2 visa sponsorship

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents throughout the night shift
  • Carry out and oversee assessments of residents' health needs and respond promptly to any changes in condition
  • Develop, implement and review individualised care plans in line with residents' needs
  • Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with NMC standards and home policies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation
  • Liaise with on-call GPs and healthcare professionals where required
  • Supervise and support care staff on shift, promoting a culture of dignity and compassionate care
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents throughout the night
