£31,100 per annum | 40 Hour per week, All Year Round

What Our Client Is Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or above - essential
• Experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner within a nursery setting
• A warm, nurturing leadership style that fits naturally into a close-knit, characterful setting
• A solid understanding of EYFS and early childhood development
• A genuine enthusiasm for forest school and outdoor learning
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and a strong communicator with families and staff

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day running of your room, creating a warm, stimulating environment where every child feels safe and inspired
• Planning and delivering creative, engaging activities in line with EYFS, incorporating forest school principles and outdoor learning
• Making full use of the nursery's wonderful garden and forest school sessions to enrich children's daily experiences
• Observing and documenting children's development, sharing progress meaningfully with families
• Mentoring and supporting room-based staff, acting as a positive and consistent role model
• Building warm, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Contributing to the wider nursery team and upholding the nursery's Good Ofsted standards
