Level 3 Room Leader

Up to £31,200 per annum | 40 Hours per Week 

 

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Room Leader to join a our client’s nursery that is committed to providing exceptional care and early years education.

 

The nursery has earned a Good Ofsted rating and offers a bright, welcoming environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and develop confidence through play. Spacious indoor learning areas and a well-equipped outdoor environment, complete with dedicated play spaces for different age groups, provide children with endless opportunities to discover new skills and prepare for their transition into full-time education.

 

This role is ideal for a passionate early years professional who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences, supporting children's development, and leading a team to deliver outstanding practice.

 

Who We're Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Nursery Practitioner
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to support, motivate, and mentor colleagues
  • Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room
  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan and implement engaging learning experiences
  • Support children's learning, development, and school readiness
  • Mentor and support colleagues within the room
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals
  • Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure safeguarding, compliance, and nursery standards are consistently maintained
