An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner / Third in Charge to join a thriving, high-quality nursery setting.

 

This role is ideal for a confident early years professional ready to take the next step in their career, supporting leadership while helping to drive outstanding practice across the nursery.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Third in Charge, Room Leader, or Senior Practitioner
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate a team
  • Passion for delivering high-quality childcare

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Nursery Manager and Deputy in the day-to-day running of the setting
  • Leading practice within rooms and acting as a role model for staff
  • Ensuring delivery of high-quality care in line with the EYFS framework
  • Supporting staff development and maintaining strong team performance
  • Building positive relationships with parents and carers
  • Assisting with compliance, safeguarding, and operational standards
