Nursery Manager – £43,000 per annum
Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week

About You

We’re looking for a driven and experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced nursery setting. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
  • A Level 3 qualification or higher in Early Years Education or Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and current childcare legislation
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience overseeing teams and nursery operations
  • A passion for delivering outstanding childcare and inspiring your team to do the same
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities

As Nursery Manager, you will:

  • Take full responsibility for the daily management and operation of the nursery
  • Lead, motivate, and develop your team of early years professionals
  • Ensure the nursery meets all regulatory requirements and delivers high standards of care and education
  • Maintain compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding, and health & safety policies
  • Foster strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the wider community
  • Monitor children's development and ensure effective implementation of the EYFS
  • Drive continuous improvement through reflective practice, team training, and high-quality provision
