Regional Care Home Manager | East Midlands Region|Up to £60,000 + Bonus

 

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Care Home Manager to join their senior care leadership team, providing expert support to a small portfolio of care homes for older adults.

 

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with regional or multi-site experience who thrives on variety and wants to play a key role in supporting Home Managers to deliver exceptional care, meet compliance standards, and strengthen the quality, occupancy, and financial sustainability of their homes.

 

As Regional Care Home Manager, you’ll work closely with Home Managers across the group to help maintain high standards of care, ensure full compliance, and drive service improvement. From stepping in during management transitions to supporting on audits, recruitment, occupancy, and performance, you’ll be a trusted source of expertise and encouragement.

 

You’ll be based in a region with regular travel between homes and play a vital role in maintaining stability and consistency across services.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience as a Regional Care Home Manager or multi-site Care Home Manager
  • Strong understanding of CQC compliance and operational management
  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • A nursing qualification is desirable but not essential
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between services
  • A flexible, supportive leadership style with excellent problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on leadership support to Care Home Managers
  • Ensure homes remain fully compliant with CQC standards and internal policies
  • Support with recruitment, staff development, and retention strategies
  • Monitor and assist with occupancy, marketing, and resident engagement
  • Oversee budgets, profit and loss, and ensure financial targets are met
  • Act as interim manager where needed during leadership transitions
  • Contribute to service audits, action plans, and continuous improvement
