Care Quality and Compliance Lead – Up to £40,000 + Bonus
Our client, a well-established and values-led care provider, is looking for a Care Quality and Compliance Lead to champion high standards across their group of care homes. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about delivering safe, person-centred care and supporting staff development. The successful candidate will be pivotal in shaping quality practices and promoting continuous improvement across services.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in quality and compliance within care homes or nursing homes, who enjoys being on the move and engaging with teams at all levels.
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 5 in Health and Social Care
- Proven experience in a quality and compliance role within care homes or nursing homes.
- In-depth knowledge of care sector regulations and safeguarding procedures.
- Strong report-writing, communication, and organisational skills.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car – must be comfortable with regular, long-distance travel.
- A proactive, personable, and solution-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain compliance across all services, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards (including CQC).
- Create detailed audit reports and action plans to drive improvements.
- Deliver and support the training and development of care staff and managers.
- Lead on safeguarding matters and provide expert guidance.
- Respond to and manage complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Work collaboratively to implement strategies that improve care standards and outcomes.
- Act as a key advisor to management on best practices in quality assurance and compliance.
