Deputy Nurse Manager (RGN/RMN) – Nursing Home

Salary: Up to £50,000

What We’re Looking For

  • NMC Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN).
  • Proven leadership experience within a nursing home setting.
  • Strong clinical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to motivate and support a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursing home.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the nursing and care teams.
  • Oversee clinical practices including medication management and care planning.
  • Maintain high standards of care, safety, and compliance at all times.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
  • Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing for every resident.
  • Drive continuous improvement in line with regulatory standards.
