Head of Care – Registered General Nurse (RGN)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £51,000 per annum

What We’re Looking For:
- RGN qualification with valid NMC registration.
- Strong experience leading a nursing team or managing a ward, ideally in a complex care, neurorehabilitation, or similar setting.
- Excellent knowledge of Clinical Governance, CQC standards, and safeguarding protocols.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff.
- Mentorship in Practice (MIP) qualification (or willingness to achieve it).
- A compassionate, forward-thinking leader committed to excellence in care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with CQC standards.
- Develop personalised care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams for residents with complex and neurological conditions.
- Monitor clinical standards, conduct audits, and drive quality improvements across the service.
- Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and support to nursing staff, fostering a positive and inclusive working environment.
- Work closely with families, GPs, specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated care.
- Stay current with clinical best practices, safeguarding requirements, and regulatory updates relevant to complex care settings.
