Salary: £39,500
Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week
There is an option for a Term-Time only contract, salary would reflect this.
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a vibrant and inclusive early years setting. This role is perfect for someone with Level 3 in Childcare (or higher) and a strong background in managing early years services who is passionate about creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
As Nursery Manager, you will play an important role in shaping the nursery’s culture, supporting a dedicated team of practitioners, and ensuring the highest standards of care and education.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 in Childcare / Early Years (or equivalent qualification).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a nursery management or senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and current childcare regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications (desirable).

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily management of the nursery, ensuring compliance with Ofsted, EYFS, and statutory requirements.
- Lead, motivate, and support the nursery team to deliver outstanding childcare and education.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate an inclusive curriculum tailored to the diverse needs of children.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, carers, and the wider community.
- Monitor safeguarding, health, and safety practices to create a secure environment.
- Manage nursery budgets, staffing, and resources effectively.
- Supervise staff performance, encourage training, and support career development.
- Promote a culture of respect, equality, and inclusivity within the nursery community.
