Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) – Up to £28,000 | 40 Hours per Week

Our client, a welcoming and well-established nursery with a Good Ofsted rating, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly team. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) based in a beautiful nursery that provides high-quality childcare and early years education to children aged three months to five years.

 

The nursery is designed to support every child’s growth, curiosity, and happiness — and they’re looking for someone who shares that vision.

 

As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll be part of a nurturing and collaborative team providing a safe, stimulating, and caring environment. You'll support children in all areas of learning and development through play, planning, and positive interaction. Every day offers new opportunities to inspire, guide, and celebrate the little wins that matter most in early childhood.

 

What They're Looking For

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) – essential
  • Experience working with children aged 0–5 years in a nursery or childcare setting
  • A genuine passion for supporting early development
  • A caring, enthusiastic, and team-focused approach
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS and child development
  • Strong communication and observation skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
  • Build warm, trusting relationships with children and their families
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Observe, record, and assess children’s development and progress
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality childcare
  • Support the emotional, physical, and educational needs of each child
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and other nursery policies
