Nursery Practitioner  | Level 2/3 Early Years Childcare

Up to £27,040 per year (depending on qualification and hours)

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join a nurturing, child-centred nursery in Farnham (GU9). Just minutes from Farnham train station, the beautifully renovated setting offers a warm, home-like environment with an OFSTED Outstanding rating and a bespoke curriculum that places children’s wellbeing at the heart of everything.

 

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development from birth to five. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education to join a welcoming, supportive team.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
  • A caring, professional, and proactive approach to childcare
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting emotional wellbeing
  • Previous nursery experience is an advantage, but not essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities tailored to each child’s interests and stage of development.
  • Support children’s growth across all areas of the EYFS framework with warmth and care.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with families, keeping them involved in their child’s journey.
  • Work collaboratively with your room team to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, and safety at all times.
