Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) – Early Years Setting
Hourly Rate: £12.50-£13.50
40 hours per week
Shifts: 8:00-18:00

Our client, a small and family-run nursery, is looking for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join their team. This role offers the chance to nurture children’s learning and development in a setting where both staff and children are truly valued.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children’s growth through stimulating activities, both planned and spontaneous. Working closely with colleagues and families, you will help create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualification - Level 2 or 3 Early Years
- Previous experience in a nursery, preschool, or early years education setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Ability to manage small groups effectively while maintaining a nurturing atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning through adult-led and child-initiated play.
- Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing space that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Deliver In the Moment Planning (ITMP) and facilitate free-flow activities.
- Work in partnership with parents and carers to identify starting points and celebrate progress.
- Monitor and track children’s development through observations and focus weeks.
- Promote resilience, confidence, and social skills through group play and learning experiences.
