If you’re passionate about giving children the very best start in life, this is the perfect opportunity to grow your career in a nurturing, family-feel environment. We’re looking for a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a warm, welcoming nursery rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted — where every day brings smiles, laughter, and the chance to make a genuine difference.

This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to be part of a caring team that values creativity, compassion, and connection.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll create inspiring, child-led learning experiences that spark curiosity and confidence. You’ll support each child’s individual journey through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), working closely with families and your colleagues to provide a safe, happy, and stimulating environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Positive, flexible, and caring approach to every day.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive hourly rate – £12.32 to £13.45 per hour
  • Discounted childcare – supporting your family while you support others
  • Company pension scheme for your peace of mind
  • Christmas closure so you can enjoy the festive season
  • Wellbeing support and programmes to help you feel your best
  • Training and development opportunities to help you grow in your career

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework.
  • Build warm, trusting relationships with children, parents, and carers.
  • Ensure the nursery environment is welcoming, safe, and inclusive for all.
  • Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to learning journeys.
  • Work collaboratively with your team to maintain the nursery’s Good Ofsted rating.
  • Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and early learning development.
