Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) – Early Years

 

The nursery provides care for children from six weeks to five years old, with a strong focus on consistency, routine, and child-led learning. Days are spent supporting play and development across indoor spaces and a large outdoor area that includes a sand pit, mud kitchen and vegetable patch.

 

Before You Apply

  • This role is not suitable for candidates without prior Early Years experience.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification is required.
  • You must have a good working knowledge of the EYFS and be confident supporting children across the age range.

What You’ll Need

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Ability to support children across different age groups

Desirable

  • Additional safeguarding or Early Years training

  • Build secure, positive relationships with children and families
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities through play
  • Contribute to observations and learning records
