Nursery Practitioner – £26,000–£28,000

 

Days are built around free-flow play, messy activities, and time outdoors, with children moving between well-equipped rooms and a garden designed for active exploration. The nursery is organised by age group, allowing you to focus on development at the right stage while supporting children to build independence and confidence.

 

Before You Apply

  • This role requires a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • You must have recent experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.

  • Salary: £26,000–£28,000 per year
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, full-time
  • Contract: Permanent

What You’ll Need

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting
  • Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
  • Ability to work consistently within a team environment

 

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver planned activities alongside child-led play
  • Support children in developing independence and social skills
  • Observe and record development in line with EYFS
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised environment
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery procedures
  • Communicate clearly with parents and colleagues
