Nursery Room Leader | Up to £30,000 | 40 Hours per week | Level 3 Early Years

 

Set in a welcoming and inspiring environment, this nursery offers children the freedom to explore, play, and grow through enriching experiences and hands-on learning. With a Good Ofsted rating, a passionate team, and a beautiful outdoor space complete with a mud kitchen and creative play area, the setting is dedicated to providing high-quality, child-led care.

 

They are now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader to join their team—someone who brings energy, warmth, and a commitment to making a real difference in children’s early years.

 

What You’ll Need

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in an early years setting, ideally in a leadership role
  • Sound understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • A warm, positive attitude and a passion for helping children thrive
  • A commitment to inclusive, high-quality practice and ongoing learning

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading your room team to deliver inspiring, age-appropriate activities
  • Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
  • Building strong, professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Supporting colleagues with mentoring, planning, and reflective practice
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to regular observations and assessments
