Nursing Home Manager – Specialist Neurological & Brain Injury Care

Up to £60,000 | NMC Pin Required | CQC Registered Care Home

Our client is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead a specialist care home providing complex nursing, neurological care, and rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injuries and long-term conditions.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high-quality, person-centred service with a strong team and a reputation for excellent care. The ideal candidate will be a clinically qualified leader with a deep understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and managing registered nursing homes.

 

As Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for the operational leadership of the home, ensuring clinical excellence, resident wellbeing, and full CQC compliance. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team, deliver results, and help shape the future of specialist neurological care in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Nursing qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD) and valid NMC registration
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing registered care homes, ideally supporting adults with complex needs
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards, quality assurance, and clinical governance
  • Experience with neurological care, rehabilitation, or brain injury support (desirable)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursing home, ensuring delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding policies, and health & safety standards
  • Lead, develop and support a skilled care and nursing team
  • Promote a positive, accountable, and inclusive culture
  • Work collaboratively with families, external agencies, and healthcare professionals
  • Drive service improvement through audits, reviews, and data-informed decision-making
  • Manage staffing, budgets, care planning, and all operational aspects of the home
