Physical Health Nurse – Up to £37,500 | 37.5 Hours per week, Monday-Friday
As a Physical Health Nurse within a specialist inpatient mental health unit, you’ll be the steady, clinical anchor for young. If you thrive in environments where your compassion and clinical skills matter, this role is made for you.
You’ll be the driving force behind each patient’s physical wellbeing, guiding their care with confidence and heart. This is a predominantly Monday–Friday position (37.5 hours per week), offering structure while still giving you the satisfaction of being hands-on with varied clinical needs. What You’ll Bring
Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with active NMC registration.
At least 2 years post-qualification experience.
Experience in NG feeding and phlebotomy—essential for this role.
A genuine passion for empowering young people and delivering excellent, person-centred care.
The ability to navigate dynamic clinical situations with calmness, clarity, and a collaborative mindset.

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead the physical health input for young people within an inpatient mental health setting.
Complete thorough assessments and shape personalised care plans that support recovery.
Work closely with the management team, GPs, and speech & language therapists to coordinate seamless, holistic care.
Carry out NG feeding and phlebotomy with confidence and accuracy.
Monitor ongoing physical health needs, identifying risks and supporting early interventions.
Contribute to a warm, stabilising, and supportive clinical environment that helps young people feel safe.
