Nursery Room Leader (Baby Room) – Up to £31,500 – Level 3 Early Years Qualified

Our client is looking for a dedicated and passionate Room Leader to join their welcoming nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years Practitioner who is ready to take the next step in their career, leading the baby room in a beautiful, purpose-built nursery with large play areas, a sensory room, and fully equipped age-appropriate spaces.

This full-time role (40 hours per week, with a paid lunch break included) offers the chance to work in a supportive environment where staff wellbeing is a priority.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working with babies in a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A warm, caring, and patient approach.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the baby room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
• Plan, deliver, and review engaging activities that support early development.
• Provide guidance and support to a small team of practitioners.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS standards are met.
• Monitor and record children’s progress, sharing updates with families.
