As a Nursery Room Leader, you’ll take ownership of your room, balancing hands-on practice with leading staff, maintaining standards, and keeping the day running smoothly.

Before You Apply

• Experience as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or Senior Practitioner in an Early Years setting is required.
• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher) is essential.
• This role is not suitable for candidates without room-level leadership experience.

What You’ll Need

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher)
• Experience as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or Senior Practitioner
• Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
• Ability to lead a team and manage daily routines within a room
• Good communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills

• Lead the day-to-day running of your room
• Plan and deliver activities in line with the EYFS
• Support, guide, and oversee staff within the room
