Room Leader - £32,000

 

This nursery is busy and engaging, where children learn through doing - from group activities and imaginative play indoors to hands-on time in the garden, growing and exploring in the vegetable patch.

 

You’ll lead a room where the focus is on building confidence, independence, and social skills so children are genuinely ready for school.

 

Before You Apply

  • This role requires a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • You must have recent experience leading or supervising within a nursery room.

What You’ll Need

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within a nursery setting
  • Previous experience leading a room or small team
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day running of a nursery room
  • Plan and oversee activities that support learning and development
  • Guide and support room staff to maintain consistent practice
  • Monitor children’s progress and ensure accurate observations
  • Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS standards
  • Build clear, professional relationships with parents and carers
