Senior Healthcare Assistant – Luxury Care Home – £13.50 per hour

 

You will be at the heart of resident care, supporting older adults through their daily routines and individual needs. The role combines personal care, observation, and collaboration with nurses and care staff to ensure residents’ wellbeing. Each day presents opportunities to make tangible improvements in residents’ comfort, independence, and quality of life.

 

Before You Apply

  • This role requires experience as a Senior Healthcare Assistant within a care home setting.
  • Applicants must hold a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification.
  • Candidates without experience caring for older adults or in a regulated care environment should not apply.

What You’ll Need

  • Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification
  • Experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Senior Healthcare Assistant in a care home
  • Experience caring for older adults, including those with dementia
  • Understanding of safe care practices and CQC requirements
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities confidently

 

What You’ll Do

  • Assist residents with personal care, mobility, and daily routines
  • Support nurses with health monitoring and recording observations
  • Promote residents’ independence while ensuring safety
  • Liaise with colleagues regarding residents’ changing needs
  • Follow care plans and policies to maintain CQC compliance
  • Participate in handovers and team briefings
