Room Leader – Baby Room | Beautiful Setting | £32,500
Our client is looking for a confident and nurturing Level 3 Room Leader to lead their baby room within a beautifully designed nursery filled with light, warmth, and curiosity.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a baby room in a child-led, supportive environment that values emotional wellbeing, strong attachments, and high-quality early years practice. What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) – essential
- Proven experience working with babies in an Early Years setting (Desirable)
- Previous Room Leader experience or similar senior role
- A warm, nurturing approach with strong knowledge of child development
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
- Strong communication, organisation, and team leadership skills
- A proactive, positive attitude and genuine passion for early years care

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the baby room, ensuring high standards of care and organisation
- Create a calm, nurturing environment that supports secure attachments
- Plan and oversee age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Monitor children’s development, including observations and next steps
- Support, guide, and supervise staff within the room
- Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers
- Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety standards are consistently met
- Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment for babies
