Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home | Open a New 3-Bed Home | Up to £60,000

 

Ideal for an experienced Deputy or Registered Manager ready to lead a brand-new Ofsted-registered children’s home. Take full ownership of the setup, staffing, and culture of a new 3-bed service, using trauma-informed approaches to drive positive outcomes.

What You’ll Need

Essential:

  • Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent) + willingness to complete Level 5.
  • Experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in children’s residential care.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, regulations and compliance.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed or therapeutic models.

Desirable:

  • Level 5 Leadership & Management.
  • Experience opening or registering a new children’s home.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Register and manage the new children’s home in line with Ofsted and regulations.
  • Recruit, lead and develop the staff team.
  • Maintain high-quality safeguarding, behaviour support, and compliance.
  • Oversee records, audits, inspections and care planning.
  • Manage budgets, rotas and operational systems.
  • Build strong links with local authorities and external partners.
