Deputy Nurse Manager – £47,500 | 40 Hours per week
Our client, a warm and welcoming nursing home that provides high-quality care for older adults, is looking for an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join their leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference in a service that prides itself on delivering person-centred care, especially for those living with nursing, dementia, and palliative needs.
As Deputy Nurse Manager, you’ll work closely with the Home Manager to support the day-to-day clinical leadership of the home. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that care delivery is safe, effective, and truly personalised—upholding the dignity, rights, and choices of every resident.
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN (essential)
- Proven experience in a nursing home setting (essential)
- Previous senior or leadership experience within care (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and best practice
- A confident, empathetic communicator with a proactive and collaborative approach
- Passionate about delivering person-centred care and empowering others

Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and managerial leadership across the home
- Lead, mentor, and support the nursing and care teams to deliver outstanding care
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and all regulatory frameworks
- Conduct audits, care plan reviews, and contribute to continuous service improvement
- Be a visible and approachable presence for residents, families, and colleagues
- Support the Home Manager with staff development, recruitment, and operational planning
