Healthcare Assistant – Day & Night Rotating Shifts | £12.50 per hour | Full-Time
Paid Breaks | Training | Blue Light Card | Beautiful Residential & Nursing Home

 

Our client is looking for a kind and committed Healthcare Assistant to join their care team. This full-time position involves a rotation of day and night shifts. The service is based in a modern, thoughtfully designed home where residents' wellbeing, dignity, and comfort are at the heart of everything they do.

 

Working as part of a dedicated care team, you will provide person-centred support to residents throughout both day and night shifts. You’ll be assisting with all aspects of daily living, ensuring each resident feels safe, valued, and supported.

What They're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, preferably with experience in residential, dementia or nursing care
  • A Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (or working towards it) is preferred
  • Flexibility to work across a rota of day and night shifts
  • A warm, caring, and respectful approach to support
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A strong desire to make a real difference in people’s lives

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care during both day and night shifts
  • Support residents with personal care, mobility, and daily routines
  • Encourage independence and choice in line with individual care plans
  • Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with the team
  • Respond to residents’ emotional and physical needs with empathy
  • Work closely with senior carers and nursing staff to maintain high standards
