Healthcare Assistant – Neurological & Specialist Care

Day Shifts, full-time hours
Salary: Up to £13.90 per hour + enhanced rates for weekends and bank holidays

Full UK driving licence and access to a car required – no public transport available to the site

Are you a compassionate and experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to make a real difference in specialist care? What We’re Looking For:

• Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification)
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is essential
• Ideally experienced in neurological, complex care, or palliative care
• Sound knowledge of care legislation, safeguarding, and infection control
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Kind, patient, and professional with a strong sense of empathy

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist with the assessment, planning, delivery, and review of individualised care plans
• Provide high-quality personal care and support in line with best practices
• Observe and report any changes in service users’ physical or emotional wellbeing
• Encourage independence and personal choice in daily activities
• Contribute to a safe and supportive environment by following health & safety protocols
• Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
