Night Nurse (RGN or RMN) – Nursing Home
Night Shifts, 36 hours per week
£21.00 per hour + paid breaks
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) looking for a calm, rewarding role during night hours? We’re seeking a compassionate Night Nurse to join our supportive care team and provide exceptional person-centred care to residents in our warm and welcoming nursing home.

What We’re Looking For:
- Active NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
- Previous nursing experience, ideally in a care home, residential, or clinical setting
- Confident in making clinical decisions and managing risk overnight
- A calm, empathetic, and professional approach to nursing care
- Able to work independently, prioritising safety and wellbeing during quiet hours

Your Night Shift Responsibilities:
- Delivering safe, high-quality care to residents throughout the night
- Monitoring residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing
- Administering medication and treatments in line with best practice
- Managing overnight incidents and responding to emergencies calmly
- Ensuring accurate documentation and smooth handovers to day staff
- Creating a secure, reassuring, and respectful environment
- Following all health, safety, and infection control standards
- Building strong relationships with residents, families, and team members
