The Nursery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained. This is a hands-on role ideal for a motivated leader who thrives in a collaborative, child-centred environment.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
  • Previous experience in a Nursery Manager role is essential
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a diverse team
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
  • Confident communicator with a warm, professional manner
  • Passionate about child development and inclusive practice

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the nursery team to deliver outstanding care and early years education
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain high safeguarding standards
  • Support staff development through coaching, supervision, and accredited training
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external professionals
  • Manage nursery budgets and resources efficiently
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment indoors and outdoors
  • Lead on planning and delivering the EYFS framework in line with best practice
