Nursery Manager | Up to £45,000 | 40 Hours Per Week
Our client, a values-driven childcare provider, is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a beautiful, well-resourced nursery that places children’s wellbeing, creativity, and development at the heart of everything it does.

As Nursery Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding. You’ll lead a team of dedicated practitioners, support their development, and foster a positive, collaborative culture across the nursery.
What They’re Looking For
- Level 3 or above in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent) – essential
- Proven experience as a Nursery Manager
- A successful track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- A deep understanding of the EYFS and child-led, play-based learning
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A warm, approachable, and proactive management style

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursery team to deliver high-quality care and education
- Maintain compliance with Ofsted, EYFS, and all relevant safeguarding policies
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for children aged 0–5
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and staff
- Manage budgets, staffing, training, and resources efficiently
- Drive continuous improvement and staff development
- Champion a child-centred approach where children thrive through play
