Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) – Elderly Nursing Home
Hours: 36 hours per week – Night Shifts
Salary: £20.40 per hour + paid breaks
We’re currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Night Nurse (RGN or RMN) to join our client’s supportive team at a well-respected elderly nursing home. If you’re passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults, we’d love to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with valid NMC registration.
- Experience working in a nursing home or elderly care setting preferred.
- Confident in writing and reviewing care plans, including risk and dietary assessments.
- Strong understanding of clinical best practices and compliance standards.
- Calm, compassionate, and able to work independently during night hours.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

What You’ll Do
- Deliver excellent nursing care throughout the night shift, ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of residents.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Monitor and document residents’ health, including vital signs and changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the wider care team.
- Maintain clear and detailed records including risk assessments, care plans, and dietary needs.
- Comply with all regulatory and safeguarding guidelines, including MCA/DoLS.
- Promote a safe, calm, and respectful night-time environment.
