Staff Nurse (RGN) – £22 per Hour – Full-Time – Night Shifts

 

Are you an experienced nurse looking for a new challenge? Our client is looking for a Staff Nurse (RGN) to join their dedicated team on full-time night shifts. The service provides high-quality, person-centred care for older adults, including those living with dementia and complex nursing needs.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered General Nurse who is confident working independently at night and who is committed to delivering outstanding clinical care. As a night nurse, you’ll ensure residents receive excellent overnight support, while helping to maintain a safe and peaceful environment.

 

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC pin
  • Minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience, ideally in a care home or similar setting
  • Experience working with older adults, including those with dementia
  • A compassionate, calm, and professional approach to overnight care
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care during night shifts
  • Administer medications and monitor residents’ health in line with care plans
  • Respond to changes in clinical condition and make sound decisions overnight
  • Complete accurate and timely care documentation
  • Promote independence, dignity, and comfort for residents
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and oncoming day teams
  • Support care assistants during night shifts and lead by example
  • Maintain compliance with NMC standards and care regulations
