Staff Nurse (RGN or RMN) – Nursing Home – Day or Night Shifts

 

We’re recruiting an experienced Staff Nurse for a permanent role in a well-established nursing home caring for older adults with nursing and dementia needs. This is a hands-on clinical position, working as part of a consistent team on day or night shifts.

 

Before You Apply

  • This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses.
  • You must be confident providing clinical care in a nursing home environment.
  • Recent experience caring for older adults is essential.

 

Key Job Details

  • Pay: £21.50 per hour
  • Hours: Up to 48 hours per week. Day or night shifts available
  • Setting: Nursing home – older adults with nursing and dementia care needs
  • Quality rating: Good CQC rating

What You’ll Need

  • Active NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
  • Strong clinical skills and confidence working autonomously
  • Previous nursing home experience
  • Experience supporting older adults, including those with dementia
  • Ability to take responsibility for clinical decisions during your shift

 

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver safe, effective nursing care in line with care plans and best practice
  • Administer medication and oversee clinical interventions
  • Monitor residents’ health and respond appropriately to changes in condition
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with CQC standards
  • Work collaboratively with care staff, GPs, and external professionals
