Clinical Lead Nurse – £24 per hour

Full-Time Hours, mixture of clinical and supernumerary hours

 

Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Clinical Lead Nurse to join their stunning, luxury care home set within manicured lawns and beautiful gardens. Rated Good by the CQC, this service provides exceptional nursing and residential care for older adults in a warm, welcoming environment.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse with a strong clinical background to step into a leadership role. The position offers a mix of clinical and supernumerary hours — with a focus on hands-on care — and would suit someone who is confident in leading a nursing team while maintaining a collaborative, team-spirited approach. A good sense of humour, a commitment to high standards, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN.
  • Strong clinical skillset with a track record of high-quality care delivery.
  • Prior management experience or proven ability to lead a small team.
  • Experience with audits, safeguarding, DoLS, and compliance.
  • Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and support the nursing team to deliver safe, person-centred care.
  • Undertake clinical duties, including medication management, care planning, and resident assessments.
  • Oversee audits, safeguarding, DoLS, and compliance in line with CQC regulations.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and adherence to best practice standards.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Liaise with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure individual needs are met.
