Full-Time | Permanent | Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN)

Our client is looking for a committed and experienced Staff Nurse to join their day team in a warm and welcoming nursing home. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to older adults in a supportive and professionally rewarding environment.

As a Day Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of residents. You’ll use your clinical expertise to assess needs, manage care plans, and provide compassionate, person-centred nursing in line with best practices.

• Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN) with active NMC registration
• Previous experience in a nursing home
• A flexible, team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills
• A genuine interest in providing outstanding care to older adults
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care during day shifts
• Apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care
• Administer medication and provide clinical interventions in line with current guidelines
• Ensure best practice in infection control, nutrition, wound care, phlebotomy, and manual handling
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the wider healthcare team
• Promote dignity, choice, and comfort for all residents
• Contribute to a positive team culture and mentor junior staff when needed
