Staff Nurse – Days | £22 per hour | £3,000 Welcome Bonus
Full-Time | Permanent | Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN)
Our client is looking for a committed and experienced Staff Nurse to join their day team in a warm and welcoming nursing home. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to older adults in a supportive and professionally rewarding environment.
As a Day Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of residents. You’ll use your clinical expertise to assess needs, manage care plans, and provide compassionate, person-centred nursing in line with best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN) with active NMC registration
- Previous experience in a nursing home
- A flexible, team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills
- A genuine interest in providing outstanding care to older adults
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care during day shifts
- Apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care
- Administer medication and provide clinical interventions in line with current guidelines
- Ensure best practice in infection control, nutrition, wound care, phlebotomy, and manual handling
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the wider healthcare team
- Promote dignity, choice, and comfort for all residents
- Contribute to a positive team culture and mentor junior staff when needed
