Deputy Nurse Manager | £49,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm | On-call weekend responsibility

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (Active NMC PIN required).
  • Proven experience in a nursing home setting, ideally with senior or deputy management experience.
  • Strong understanding of older adults and dementia care.
  • Confident communicator and empathetic leader with excellent organisational skills.
  • Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and support the Registered Manager in maintaining exceptional standards of care.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the nursing and care team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate support.
  • Conduct clinical audits, care reviews, and compliance checks to ensure regulatory excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
  • Manage rotas, medication administration, and care planning with attention to detail.
  • Take part in the weekend on-call rota to provide continuity and leadership.
