Head of Nursing – RGN | Complex Neuro Rehab Service | Leadership Opportunity
Salary: Up to £51,000
37.5 Hours per week
Are you an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a passion for delivering exceptional care? We’re looking for a committed and experienced Head of Nursing to lead our client's dedicated nursing team within a specialist service supporting individuals with complex care needs and neurological conditions.

What We're looking for
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration
- Proven experience in a senior clinical role such as Ward Manager, Deputy Manager, or Service Manager
- Demonstrated leadership within a large nursing or multidisciplinary team
- Strong background in managing care for adults with neurological conditions, brain injuries, or complex rehabilitation needs
- In-depth understanding of clinical governance and its application in specialist services
- Ideally holds a Management in Practice (MIP) qualification or equivalent leadership training
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and team-building skills

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and develop a large, multidisciplinary nursing team
- Oversee the delivery of safe, person-centred, and effective care for individuals with complex health and rehabilitation needs
- Promote a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and professional growth
- Ensure the service maintains full compliance with regulatory and governance standards
- Take an active role in audit, quality improvement, and service development initiatives
- Work closely with senior leadership to deliver strategic goals and improve patient outcomes
