Nursery Manager – Up to £45,000 | Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted

 

Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead a vibrant, well-established nursery set in a bright, spacious setting with a fun-filled garden and a warm, homely feel.

 

Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the nursery provides outstanding early years care. Surrounded by nature, this setting is best suited to a driver due to its location, and offers a nurturing, child-focused environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader with Nursery Manager experience to take the next step in their career in a supportive and rewarding setting. As Nursery Manager, you’ll lead the team to deliver exceptional care and education in line with EYFS and Ofsted standards. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where both children and staff thrive.

 

 What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum Level 3 in Childcare (Level 5 or above highly desirable)
  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or similar senior role
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • A warm, people-focused approach with a passion for early years
  • A driver’s licence and access to a car is essential due to the rural location of the nursery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and support the nursery team to maintain high-quality care, continuous improvement, and positive team culture.
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and Ofsted requirements are met and maintained.
  • Oversee staffing, budgets, rotas, and health & safety to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Build strong relationships with families, offering reassurance, communication, and involvement in their child’s development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum, staff performance, and child progress, driving ongoing development.
