Room Leader
From £30,000 | 40 Hours per Week | Level 3 in Early Years

What You’ll Need

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
  • Previous experience in a leadership, senior practitioner, or room leader role (desirable)
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s early learning and development
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring, professional, and approachable manner
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and inspire your room team to deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support each child’s learning and development
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Carry out observations and assessments to inform tailored learning plans
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment at all times
  • Support staff development through role modelling, guidance, and positive leadership
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to uphold the setting’s values and standards
